My name is Philbert, and my wife's name is Fidélité. We got to know that my wife was pregnant in December 2017. From that moment we started looking for a nice hospital where my wife could do the checkups and eventually deliver our baby. The challenge was enormous since my wife does not speak Chinese, we had to find a hospital with English speaking staff.We tried few hospitals nearby, but the overall experience was not as we were hoping

我叫Philbert，我的妻子叫Fidélité。我们在2017年12月得知我妻子怀孕了。从那一刻起我们开始寻找一家好医院，好让我妻子在这样一家医院里做产检，并之后生下我们的宝宝。因为我的妻子不会说中文，所以在中国生孩子是一项巨大的挑战，我们不得不找一家医护人员能讲英语的医院。我们考察了周边几家医院，但结果都不尽如人意。
 

Fortunately, one afternoon, as I was searching on internet, I found this amazing website called havingababyinchina.com, full of useful information about good maternities in major cities in China.  That’s where I got to know about Shanghai Baijia Maternity Hospital.

幸运的是，有天下午我在网上搜索的时候发现了havingababyinchina.com这个很棒的网站，上面介绍了许多中国大城市的妇产医院的有用信息。是这个网站让我了解了上海百佳妇产医院。

The testimonies I found on that website about Shanghai Baijia were very positive. I immediately contacted the Hospital and was very impressed by the speed with which I got a reply from Miss Jenny. She arranged an appointment for us to visit the Hospital. When the time came to visit the hospital, we were received by Miss Jenny, we checked the facilities, met and talked with Dr.  Herbert and Dr. Lin who kindly welcomed us. We were so impressed that we decided right away that this was the Hospital where our baby would be born.

这家网站上关于上海百佳的评价都挺正面的。我即刻联系了医院，并且马上就得到了Jenny女士的回复，这种工作效率给我留下了非常深刻的印象。Jenny女士为我们安排了医院参观，并在参观那天热情接待了我们。我们参观了设施，并与热情欢迎我们的Herbert医生和林医生进行面对面的沟通。我们特别满意，所以立即决定这就是我们要生宝宝的地方。

The checkups went well, first with Dr.Herbert, then with Dr. Lin, everything was done under the guidance of Ms. Hati Sema Malinova, the director of the international department at Shanghai Baijia,who always reassured us that she would do everything she can to make our experience at Shanghai Baijia as pleasant as possible, and believe me, she fulfilled that promise.   

产检很顺利，刚开始给我们产检的是Herbert医生，之后是林医生，全程都在上海百佳国际部主任Hati Sema Malinova的指导下顺利地进行。她曾经向我们保证会竭尽所能地让我们在上海百佳得到最愉悦的体验，相信我，她实现了这个承诺。

Miss Jenny was always there guiding us through every step, making sure that my wife’s checkup results were translated to English and delivered to us on time. The nurses did afantastic job, especially Mrs. Lucia who always accompanied my wife during her checkups. I could not accompany my wife for all checkups due to work reasons,but I did not worry because I knew she was in good hands.

就诊的每一步都有Jenny女士在旁引导，她会把我妻子的检查报告译成英文并及时发送给我们。护士们的工作也很出色，尤其是Lucia女士，在我妻子做检查期间她一直陪伴左右。由于工作的原因，我无法陪我妻子去做每一次产检，但我不需要担心，因为我知道她会得到很好的照顾。

When the due date was approaching, Ms. Hati trained my wife on breathing techniques, gave us psychological and emotional support to prepare us for the birth experience. Mr. Norbert was also there for postpartum training.

接近预产期的时候，Hati 女士帮助我妻子练习呼吸技巧，并在心理和情感上给与我们支持，来为分娩做好准备。Norbert先生也提供了产后方面的支持。
 

In the end, when the delivery time came, we found a nice team made of professional doctors, nurses and staff. 

最后，分娩的时刻终于到来了，我们见到了由医师、护士及其他医护人员组成的专业团队。

We are very grateful to Ms. Hati who supported us during delivery and the following days.Without her help, it would have been a difficult experience for us.  My wife had a normal delivery, everything went fine thanks to Dr. Lin, Dr. ZhangXiao Yan, the nurses Zhang Pei and Xia Dan Dan, the midwifes Li Wei Wei and Miao Zhen Juan, Mr. Alex, Ms. Jenny, and everyone else who helped us during those beautiful moments. Thank you very much Nurses Lucia and Coco for teaching my wife the breastfeeding techniques and taking care of her all the time.

我们对Hati女士充满了感激之情，她在分娩及产后期间一直支持着我们。如果没有她的帮助，所有的这一切将会困难重重。我妻子是顺产，在林医生、张晓燕医生、张培及夏丹丹护士、助产士李维维及缪振娟、Alex先生和Jenny女士的帮助下一切顺利。感谢其他所有在这一美好时刻帮助过我们的人；特别感谢护士Lucia及Coco为我妻子提供母乳喂养指导并一直照顾她。
